Puppy Life Skills – Enrolment
$120
A five-week puppy school for puppies aged 8–18 weeks, focused on communication, confidence and practical foundations for everyday life. Small groups, weekly resources and between-class WhatsApp support.
Description
Practical puppy training in Bellingen, building confident dogs for everyday life.
Puppy Life Skills is a structured five-week puppy school that helps families build clear communication, useful foundations and positive early experiences.
The focus is not on producing robotic obedience. It is on helping your puppy learn how to engage, settle, explore safely and respond to you as the world becomes more interesting.
Open to all puppies aged 8–18 weeks
Puppies must be 8–18 weeks old when the program begins. Puppies of all breeds and training experience are welcome. There is no adult-dog group-suitability requirement or prior training prerequisite.
Puppies must be well, show no signs of infectious illness and meet the vaccination requirements for their intake. Socialisation is carefully managed and does not mean uncontrolled puppy-to-puppy play.
How the program works
- Week 1: a 50-minute dog-free theory class covering how puppies learn, reinforcement, markers, socialisation, sleep, development and setting training up for success.
- Weeks 2–5: four 50-minute practical classes with your puppy, building each skill progressively in a carefully managed group.
- Week 5: the final practical class and graduation.
- Maximum 5 puppies: small groups with individual coaching and room for each puppy to work at their own pace.
Who this program is for
- First-time puppy families who want a clear starting point.
- Experienced handlers who want structured foundations for a new puppy.
- Puppies who are confident, cautious, excitable or still finding their feet.

- Cooperative handling for grooming and veterinary care.
- Thoughtful socialisation around people, dogs, surfaces, sounds and new experiences.
