Life Skills Group Program – Group Dog Training in Coffs Harbour

Practical training for real-world dogs.

The Life Skills Group Program is a structured 6-week course designed to help dogs cope better in everyday life and help owners understand what their dog needs to succeed.

This isn’t about perfect obedience. It’s about engagement, emotional regulation, and skills that transfer to real life.

Small group. Real-world focus. Maximum 6 dogs per intake.

What classes are actually like

Classes are structured, practical, and designed to help both dogs and handlers succeed in real environments.

Exercises are broken down clearly, with dogs given appropriate space and support throughout the process.

The focus is not on creating perfectly obedient robots. It is on building practical skills, calmer behaviour, and better communication that carries into everyday life.

  • Small class sizes
  • Structured setups and clear guidance
  • Real-world skill development
  • Reinforcement-based training
  • Practical handling and engagement work

How the program works

  • Week 1: dog-free session covering how dogs learn, how behaviour changes under stress, and how to set training up for success
  • Weeks 2–6: practical training sessions with dogs using games and building on skills learnt in the previous weeks.
  • Small group environment with carefully managed spacing
