How does your dog behave around other dogs?

Comfortable or just overexcited

Your dog can be around others but struggles with focus, pulling on leash, excitement, or distractions.

Barks, lunges, or feels overwhelmed

Your dog reacts to other dogs, people, or environments and finds situations difficult to cope with.

Important

The Life Skills Group Program is not suitable for reactive dogs who bark, lunge, or feel overwhelmed around others.

If your dog shows these behaviours, start with Reactivity Support instead.

Reactivity Support is designed to help dogs build the skills needed to eventually transition into group training when they are ready.

What is the Life Skills Group Program?

The Life Skills Group Program runs over 6 weeks and focuses on building practical, real-world skills.

Week 1 is dog-free. This session covers how dogs learn, how behaviour changes under stress, and how to set training up so it works outside of class.

The remaining weeks focus on engagement, recall, loose lead walking, and calmer behaviour in real environments.
